Default My first jam!!!!

A neighbour invited us over on Saturday to pick some cherries, we came back with a bucketful and I have just made my first ever batch of jam
2.5kg cherries
1.5kg sugar (the cheaty pectin type)
juice of 1 lemon
1tbs cinnamon
Yummy yummy yummy!

mm. That does sound good! I made my first jam/jelly a couple weeks ago following the recipe for rosemary wine jelly in the May issue of Grow Your Own. I wasn't impressed with the amount of liquid left-over so added some water and veg-geletine. It's okay, but nothing to write home about. :-/ Was more impressed with the cherry-vanilla frozen yogurt recipe.
