Default Mulled apple juice. no alcohol

Ingredients for syrup

1.5 ltres water
150g brown sugar
1 stick cinnamom or tsp ground
10 green cardamoms split open
10 whole cloves
6 allspice beries crushed
pared rind and juice of 1 lemon
1 whole ginger in syrup chopped with
1 tblsp of syrup.

Procedure

Put all ingrediants in a pan and bring to the boil. Simmer for 1/2 hour amd leave to cool. Strain through sieve or muslin into clean bottles. Store in fridge for up to a 1 month.
When ready to serve mix syrup with apple juice in the ratio of 1 part syrup to 2 parts apple juice. Heat and serve.
