  • new editor- Everywhere!

Has anyone noticed that the new editor is in so many segments? For instance she is this months fruit gardener and features in at least 2 other segments as well as the questions.

Where did the old editor go? And has the fruit gardener gone with him or is she coming back?

Yes, I wondered about the old editor - maybe it's a bit hush hush cos there was no warning

Yes, she is very high profile in the mag isn't she? Sadly she would not seem to be so keen on responding to emails - I sent her one a few weeks ago, but have not heard so much as a peep, and have to say that it's a disappointing response, I had hoped for better. It was quite an interesting email too, not a complaint of any sort!

I have even "googled" to find out where Craig has gone - not quite sure I like the way the mag is going now - early days though ...

This is the first issue of the mag that i have ever brought. However i did notice the editor seemed to be everywhere. Do i take it that this is not the usual case then.

The new editor used to edit Amateur Gardening, and left it unexpectedly and suddenly a week or 2 ago.

Hmm, I did wonder if they might be changing its name to the Lucy magazine.

I've got my new issue but have been soooooo blinking busy I haven't even opened the cover. Will need to make time tonight.

Dissappionted that my curly carrot haired hero hasn't said goodbye... I'll miss his big cheeky grin. Mind you I wish the new woman all the best. Let me get stuck into my issue tonight and I'll get back to you.

                  In the meantime.... wheres Craig?

                    girly mag? re: direction

did anyone noticed that the magazine seems more female orientated? The first month of the new editor was full of girly gardening gloves and clogs

                    deary me.

My partner commented that the graphics seem more feminine, i know little about this myself.

i feel the new editor's writing is a bit wishy washy, read out loud it sounds like a pre-school teacher :-/. good bus reading though. lol.

                      editor

                      Hi all,

thought I would join in the chat about the editor, i noticed the difference in the magazine and think it has a lovely new feel to it, i spoke to a charlotte in editorial a month or so ago and i was told that our curly haired carrot hero has gone travelling to Newzealand to catch up with his family.....its early days yet but we will wish her all the best and hope she continues the good work on a fab magazine.

on a different note has any one seen the freebies wilkinsons is doing, i got free gloves last month!

                      happy growing!

                      squeak......

I wish I could comment on this months mag, but mine hasn't arrived yet.
