Fabulous growbag. I had my first success with them last year and had lots of little ones - and very nice they were.
This years are growing well, but no curds forming yet.
How do you overwinter them ?

I sowed the seeds in seed trays last October, potted them on as they grew bigger (kept them in a cold frame0 until planting them out around March/April time & they grew steadily untill now. Added blood, fish & bone plus a liitle lime in the planting hole. "Avalanche" is the variety. Hope my Autumn ones do as well. Started them off earlier this month.

Looks like a contender for the virtual fruit and veg show if they do one this year!

Just how 'giant' is giant? Could you say approx how wide across and perhaps take a guess at the weight - just so our congratulations might be even bigger.

Well done you!

All eaten now or frozen but the head without the leaves weighed just under 6lb & measured 13" across.
