Default Wisteria

Dear All,

I have bought a Wisterial from the garden centre, it's about 3 feet tall, really only a few leaves and a growing tip! anyway, have put it in a pot about a foot accross and 15" deep. I was wondering how long it could stay in this pot? I want to plant it by my summerhouse and train it over eventually, but need to paint the summerhouse first (which may be a winter job).

Will it not really growe as it isn't in such a big pot?

many thanks,
x

Dont know about the size of the pot but I had one in a pot and it was doing great at the back of the house, I moved it to the front and put it in the ground bad idea as we lost it due to the wind. Have bought a new one and it is in a pot where the first one started off. Yours should be ok for a while.

I've got 3 in pots that I bought as tiddlers and plan to get them going before their final place is ready. Just be prepared to pot them on into a bigger pot if they demand it - the more likely problem is what to do with all the top growth they will put on!
