| Maria, if your seedlings are outside and got hit by a cold snap they could be "checked" by the cold. They can sit for a couple of weeks before they grow on - or might never grow on. It's the problem of planting too early. Wait and see. They might pick up and get on with it. Good luck.

| Hi Maria I only sowed my flax and nigella last week; and the cosmos self sown from last summer isn't showing yet. I think you just need to give it time...as long as they haven't wiled or died off then they will catch up once the shock of transplanting is over.

| mmm...I think I didn't realized it might be too soon. The flower bed is completely empty and I just get nervous about it! Last year it was my first year and I didn't manage to grow anything.. this year I feel more prepared but probably to impatient! ![]() I think I better sow again this time straight into the ground, what do you think? I also have some chamomile and sweet Williams in the cold frame, they have come to the second leaves stage, when should I plant them? Thanks all for your help! |
