| I came home from work yesterday to find that 3 of my tulips had committed suicide. From the evidence it appears it must have been assisted. The flower heads look as though they have been sliced off. I am the only one with access to my garden, the surrounding area showed no sign of foxes, cats etc although I do have squirrels. Could something have eaten its way through the stem? The break is just where the stem meets the flower head. Very bizarre. Has this happened to anyone else? |
