Default Perrenial Sunflower or Gailardia?

Looks sheepish....

I can't find the camera at the mo so no photo, sorry

I have some mystery seedlings that are doing well but I have no idea what they are (the writing washed off my milk bottle label ). They have no flower buds yet but the leaves are like an elongated rounded off oak leaf.

Does it sound like a perrenial Sunflower or Gailardia Razzle Dazzle? It's either one of these two, and which ever one it is, the other didn't germinate at all... Really helpfully I've not grown any of my sunflower seeds yet.

I have a sneaky feeling from Google Images that it's the Gailardia but I can't be certain?

Ta muchly

It sounds like gallardia to me and a lovely plant it is too. You will have quite a long lived plant there. They like lots of sun and free draining soil. Good luck and enjoy. If you put sunflower seeds on the window sill in April they usually succed. Try and try again is my motto.
