  • Nerine Oleander cuttings

I've just ordered 3 different oleander cuttings

Has anyone had success with rooting them from posted cuttings?
I've got them to root in water when they were cut from plants in the garden - but taken a chance with ordering some from fleabay - cos they looked soooo pretty

IF they root I'll keep them on the windowledge over Winter and put them out in the greenhouse in the Spring

Oleanders are easy to root. in all the colours. However be aware that ALL parts of the plant are very poisonous.

Thanks for the thought, I know they are poisonous, but nobody around here goes around eating bits of shrubs and I wear gloves when pruning

2 of the 3 have rooted already - but it's the dark pink one, the prettiest, that looks to be rotting rather than rooting oh well, have to try again next year.
