| Hi This is the first time I have attempted at growing a rose bush and in a pot. Does this look healthy and happy. It's in a south facing garden in the centre of the garden. We potted it about a month and ago and has already grown, just not sure if the new leaves are meant to be the reddish colour. The rosebush is one known as golden wedding, not sure on the real name sorry. Image of Golden Wedding Rose 20-6-08 - Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting Tru |

| Hi The new growth is commonly red tinted on roses but this colouration is uneven. I am not sure the new growth is healthy but apart from that it looks fine. Did you put some fish, blood and bonemeal feed or slow release feed with it when planting? There are drainage crocks in the bottom of the container? The colouration of the new leaves might just even out and turn a lovely deep green anyway. |
