Default Money Plant

Have been given a money plant but no absolutely nothing about looking after it! It has a few leaves - fleshy type - at the end of long wriggly stems. Doesn't look at all well! Help!

Hi Squirrel, what colour are the leaves Green or a bluey grey? If Green it;s Crassula Ovata if its the bluey colour It's Crassula Arborescens (spelling?) either way it's a succulent. so you need a gritty compost (either peat type or JI).

Have a look here it ill tell you how to grow them. They root really easily from a leaf or a stem I've got about 7 or 8 of them in 3 different vaireties.

If you want a colourful one & can get to SOuthfileds Nursery near Morton in Lincs they have one called Hummels sunset that is a cracker.

Ive got one and thought it wasn't doing any good till we won £500 on the irish lottery last night!!

They don't need much water and I only water mine maybe once a month.

Also have a lucky buddha and I rub his belly every now and then.

Thanks for the link Nick - it's the green leaved one! Will re-pot it using the same stuff as you suggested for my Aloe Barbadensis. Here's hoping it brings me as much money as it has brought you BL!
