Help please. My mind has gone blank. I am trying to think of outdoor plants with a long leaf but I can only think of hosta and calla lillies. Any suggestions would be great.

In me dreams It is not a particular plant I have in mind, just trying to think of other plants with similar leaves to hostas, cannas and callas, but coming up blank. However, from your response that could be cos there ain't nothing

Inula magnifica. Bomb proof perennial. Mine have just gone over.
Zanteschia aethiopica. Usually used as a pond plant but I've had it growing in containers, which weren't always watered.Riddlesdown (S Croydon)Comment

Zanteschia aethiopica grows in the ground around here, I've got some in my garden that seems to be happy
