Default Desert Island Flower

You are going to be stranded on a desert island but can grow one flower of your choice - what would you choose?

Sunflowers..........cos you can eat the seeds and they are good for you.!

You can also extract oil and probably make a type of flour from them!

PS They would also gladden the heart with their beauty!

Sunflower for me - a cheery flower with nutritious edible seeds - I love dual purpose.

Sunflower for me too - at least that way I'd have someone my own height to talk to.

Rose. Would smell and look wonderful to keep my mind and senses in good order(!) and there's rose hips to make lovely things from - syrup etc.

And I could make rose scent and put one in my hair for when Cap'n Jack Sparrow stopped by.
