Default alpines

any ideas for alpine gardens/features? i went to wales for the weekend and happened across what i can only assume is the BEST garden centre/nursery in the world! anyway, i got totally carried away and came home with 2 boxes of alpines. I have NO idea what im going to do with them.id love to build something but space is at a premium so ideas welcome!

Hi Leona
Gardeners World built a stone trough sort of thing for their alpine garden - plants both in the top and in spaces and cracks and crevices on the walls of it. It was about three ft high as I recall and could I suppose be any length you want. Don't know if they have anything on their website about it but worth a look. Alternatively google "growing alpine plants" and see what comes up.
