Default Rock Banana

Hi,

I have been given some rock banana seeds and cannot find out much about them. Does anyone know much about them and how/where to grow them please.

Thanks
John.

Probably not telling you anything you don't already know but Googling Musella lasiocarpa provides some info.

I germinated rock banana seed (ensete superbum) a couple of months ago. This is how i did mine, soak seed in warm water and keep inside a heated propagater for 48 hours. Then plant seed in damp vermiculite in a plastic containter with lid and keep at about 30c. I had 5 seeds and 4 germinated in 2 weeks. Once they start to sprout remove from the container and pot them into compost, they grow really quick once they germinate
