| Sounds rather like my 3 fruit trees I bought in 2006. Stand them in a bucket of water for at least 24-48 hours before planting - this will help 'welcome' them to your custody! My trees are being (big)pot grown. Nothing in first year - one of three produced 7 fruits last year and there are blossoms and what appear to be some settings of fruit on one tree already, this. Varieties of apple and pear - unnamed. Do be patient if nothing much happens this year other than a bit of greenery showing. Good luck and good eating - in time! |
