Default Is my Jostaberry poorly?

Hi Everyone,

Just spotted 10 or so leaves on my Jostaberry that have marks on them. Are they something I should be worried about? I had a good look on the plant and couldn't see any obvious culprits. I've tried to look it up in various books and on the web without much success (they mostly just seem to say that jostas have very little problems ). Does anyone have any idea what it is?

Thank, Pots

Looks like leafminer damage to me.

But I found this on the net
http://www.ars-grin.gov/ars/PacWest/...ool/josta.html

I'd pick off those leaves and dispose of them not on the compost heap to be on the safe side.

Thank you so much Vicky, the link looks exactly like what my josta has got. I think you're right though and I'll pick the leaves off just in case. Thanks loads, Jules

I planted 4 jostaberry bushes last year and all had the same thing on some of the leaves, I just left them alone it didn't spread all over or seem to affect them at all. I have the same this year and all bushes have fruit on them and are growing very well so i'm going to leave them again.

Jostaberries are so vigorous that they should be ok.
