| I planted a vine in a pot outside intending to train it in to the conservatory through a hole in the glass. It was attacked by vine weevil larvae so I washed off the roots and put it in intensive care in my hydroponic system. It has now sprouted new roots above the graft and leaves are growing. Can it survive? And if it does what will it be? What a mess! ![]() |

| Sounds as if you've done all the right things bunny. I should imagine it will almost certainly survive. As you say the new growth is above the graft, so should be the grafted plant, as opposed to the rootstock (do you know what variety it is?). Don't worry bunny, we have all had to learn!!! valmarg |
