Default Fruit trees - should they have blossom yet?

I planted three fruit trees last year - conference pear, bramley apple and some kind of plum whose name escapes me. They are all doing very well, approx 5ft high, lots of healthy green foliage but no blossom at all on any of them.

I know nothing about growing fruit trees, but shouldn't they have some sort of blossom by now? I'm in the NE of Scotland.

I would have thought you should have had some blossom if you are expecting them to fruit this year - it may be that they are not yet mature enough and need another season to establish themselves. I have an apple tree is my garden - which is older than I am apparently - and it was laden with blossom last month.
Not a fruit expert though, so hopefully someone will be along shortly that knows a bit more about it than moi.

What a bummer, was hoping to get a couple of apple crumbles out of it.

Does everyone agree with Sewer Rat or does anyone have any good news on the fruit front?

They should have had their blossom and then lost it several weeks ago. Have you had a really cold snap recently, may have killed off the emergent blossom and if that happened, you'll be lucky to get fruit this year.

Do you actually have any sign of embryonic fruit cos by now you should have tho if the trees are young, you may only get a few?

I planted 2 apple trees last year, and although had loads of flowers this spring, lost them all. Apparently too young to produce fruit. I would have thought you should have had at least some flowers too

None of my fruit trees have done any good this year. The plum, pear and apricot failed to blossom at all. The cherry blossomed, set small fruits and then got frosted or something. The apple blossomed, set fruits but now there are only 2 on it.
