  • Ministry of Food exhibition

Read a great blog post this morning about a visit to the Ministry of Food exhibition at the Imperial War Museum.

The organisers not only found out whose foot was used in the "Digging for Victory" posters but invited his grandson to the opening - details are here.

Sounds like a good exhibition to visit if you're within reach of London.

(Hope I have put this in the right place)

Thanks for posting this, BilboWaggins - I went to the 'Wartime Kitchen and Garden' exhibition there a good few years ago and met Harry Dodson, who was giving a talk. Great!
Whooops - now what are the dogs getting up to?

I've got a Dig for Victory teeshirt. Bought it from Past Times many years ago. Someone asked me where I'd got it from. I said I'd had it left over from the war. She believed me! I must look more wrinkly than I thought. (Still, wrinkly-seeded peas are sweeter!)

Thanks (I think!) Isn't that maturity for a hobbit?
