It's not just you Dobby! I used to have a sign over my desk that said, 'I'm most efficient when nobody's looking.' I think lots of us feel like that.

I've been doing mine in excel in the odd minutes (hours) when I haven't been paying attention to the major pile of urgent things on my desk!

I used to have a sign on my desk that read "A tidy desk is a sign of a sick mind", although it was a waste of time because I could never find it.

Mmm! I had that on my previous desk. We don't just have 1949 in common then?

It's the same syndrome that says when your house is freshly spring-cleaned,nobody visits.but when you're up to your eyes in dust,dog-hair and undone dishes people visit by the coach-load!!
