Default Got the keys to the new lottie!

Hello all,

Following on from my previous thread, I have the keys and will begin work this weekend. Going to start an album on this! Just one pic for now. It's about 45' long by 20' deep.

Wow you have some work to do there. I forgot to take pictures of my lottie when I first took it on but it wasnt overgrown as the person had moved away and had given it back in a fairly decent state just a few weeds, so I was lucky. the only thing is its not big enough as it is a half plot so I am after another one. I might be in luck after christmas as a few are not being used and are in a babd state.
Good luck and enjoy.

It is isn't it HW, that's what I like about it! Lots of plans going round in my head at the moment. Want to grow veg/fruit/herbs etc but also want to have lots of wildlife feeders etc and 100's of other things too lol!

Congratulations MrsC2b. My first plot was taken over from the previous occupant and it was immaculate. I had to give it up though due to other commitments and when I had the time to try again I was given a bramble thicket. Actually that wasn't too bad, but when we cleared the brambles we realized they were covering a scrap-yard. It's taken five years to get it how I want it, but y'know what? I much prefer it to the posh one because this one is mine, it's set out how I want it, the crop rotation works for the crops that I want to grow and I've been able to plan the beds, windbreaks, shed and chicken housing just for me. I love it and I'm sure you'll soon feel that way too.

Just leave it as it is, as it looks rather idylic!

Nice one Mrsc!

Well done Mrsc2b, i am new to this as well, had mine about 8 weeks now. It was an overgrown nightmare of hidden paths, i think the guy who had it before me was in to patio's and crazy paving rather than veg, but nearly there now and have got an area to plant some garlic, onions and broad beans.
Have fun. keep the pics coming, will try to put some of mine on when i work out how!!
Regards
Mark

Mine is the jungely bit on the left hand side, started clearing today.

Plot is now marked and I was never any good with maths, the plot is actually in the region of 85' x 25'. Managed to get to ground level with approx 12' x 25'. Back again tomorrow.

Another day with Mr C and my Mum helping, lots of clearing rubbish, chopping down and attacking a few overhanging trees. Fab weather!
