| Carrots and onions worked perfectly in my garden last year - so I'm trying it commercially now - will let you know. The carrots deter the onion fly, and the onions deter the carrot fly - that's the theory. Having said that, I was reading an article on the web and the gardener in question has decided to opt for environmesh this year after struggling with companion planting for the last three years and losing crops because of it.
