Default There was a thread

There was a thread for this, and yes it does work if you build up your natural predators too.

Onions are good companion plant, so are nasturtiums, if you're doing carrots, you can plant parsley alongside or dill.

I use this book:
http://www.amazon.co.uk/exec/obidos/...800444-4837403
Though it is American, I did find it useful, it gives some great ideas not just on companions but on the look of your plot, and tells you what to plant with what and how to do raised beds without planks etc.

Default Companion Planting

Hi No1S
There was an article all about this subject in the December issue of GYO in the newly started organic section. If you haven't got this issue ( out in November) let me know and I'll put it on the forum for you
Cheers
Rat
ps There is a thread somewhere on this subject as Andrewo points out

I planted Garlic next to all my rose bushes this Autumn. I will report back on the results in a few months.
