Default Asparagus

Hi all

I took on an allotment plot in january and having cut back the weeds etc i found that i am lucky enough to have some asparagus growing. As grateful as i am for these they are randomly on the plot and i want to move them.

Can anyone advise me when they are safe to move and re plant?

Many thanks in advance

Been discussed before - look here: Asparagus.....to move or not to move?

I think as with most things, it's best to move when dormant.

Yep but difficult to find! Mark them well and don't cut the ferns off too short to help locate...indeed best moved Oct to March but make sure you have the new home well prepared in advance
