Why You Should Get Involved In The Great British Growing Awards

Grow Your Own’s Great British Growing Awards offers an exciting opportunity to have your say about all the great parts of the gardening industry. If you need some reasons to get nominating, take a look at our top picks.

You can win a place on My Garden School‘s online course ‘Gardening Made Easy’, with author, Alex Mitchell. It involves a four-week masterclass to growing edibles with video lectures from the comfort of your home. By getting involved with our awards and making your nominations, you’ll automatically be entered into the draw and be in with a chance of winning one of two places on offer!

Do you know a brilliant a gardening volunteer? If so, now’s your chance to highlight all their hard work. There’s also £250 of National Gardening vouchers up for grabs for the winner, who will be chosen by Christine Walkden.

Can you name a fantastic group of growers? Nominate your favourite community garden and its members will be in with a chance to win £500 of National Gardening Vouchers to spend on the space if they’re picked by our judge, Chris Beardshaw.

Let us know which UK suppliers you think offer outstanding products and service so that other gardeners can benefit, too. All the winners are chosen by you and growers at home, which means our list of winners and runners up will be a great guide for all your growing needs.

Our awards are sponsored by The Edible Garden Show, so make sure you check out the exhibitions that they have lined up here. The 2016 show will take place from March 11-13 at Stoneleigh Park, Warwickshire, where you’ll find a wealthy of growing knowledge from a wide range of experts.
