What is this please? Spotted in a wooded area, described to me as “like a sweetcorn growing tomatoes” - hmmm, not recommended for soup! Strangely familiar but can't find it on Google..... Not picked by me. There were 7 of them in a group.

Google kept taking me to Amanita muscaria, a sought-after if dodgy hallucinogenic entity, evidently the favourite food of reindeer whose urine is also prized by desperate joy-seekers....!
