  • We have babies!

Hi All, I was up the top end of the garden near where the thrush is nesting and I hear babies! She is still sitting on them and just looks at you as if to say "your distrubing my peace and quiet" when your working close by. I cant wait to see them out and out once they fledge, but I know I have a good wait yet...

Also so my first baby blackbird fledgling and can hear Mr Robin's babies in the conifers everything he comes and sees me for mealworms.

Then also, I saw my first three house martins last night... what a day!

Thrushes are just beautiful! The matted honeysuckle near our dining room window seems to be home to a nest of blackbird chicks and dunnocks. It's a propper Nursery Bush!

That's lovely! My three baby blackbirds are growing up very quickly. They've still got their 'gape', but their tails are getting longer and longer everyday.
