          I remember Tomper -who could forget him (apart from his breeder).
          He was a confused seedling that might have been a tomato or a pepper. I'm not sure what happened to Tomper in the end but he's remembered (and forgotten) fondly.

              Have you tried mixing the seed with chilli powder or cayenne pepper? I saw it recommended and have been trying it recently. We have loads of squirrels in our garden. I quite like them but they can hoover up a seed feeder in one day and the wee birds don’t get a look in. It’s not entirely deterring them but the seed is lasting longer so think it is having some impact.
