    Hey all so tydying the green house found this little fella!
    I can remember digging them up as a kid the end twirls around but never knew what they turned into any ideas?

    It's some sort of moth I found a couple in the greenhouse last year too so just carefully removed them to a safe spot behind the greenhouse. Perhaps if I find some this year I'll take them home and put them in a small fish tank (you know the six-inch long ones for transporting hamsters etc) with some compost in the base and a couple of twigs to climb and see what emerges.

    We did this with a comma butterfly caterpillar last summer as Neil had never seen how caterpillars pupate and emerge as moths or butterflies. He was thrilled to bits with it
