  • Mouse spider

I came across this guy in the tunnel this morning. S/he's about 1" long from head to tail. When I found it, it was sat with his four front feet together and looked like nothing so much as a super, tiny mouse. By the time I had the camera it was moving. But he has two "eyes" a "nose" and even two patches that could be laid back "ears". I would have thought that these might have made him more enticing rather than less but what do I know!

      I can't see it *puzzled*

I mean, I can see the spider, just not the "mouse" bit

Sorry, I can see I didn't explain very well. The whole body is like the head. The pointy bum is the nose. So it's a mouse with a very big head. It folded its front four legs together like a tail when it was resting.
