  • Midges

Not sure if this is a Wildlife Topic, but early this morning I got attacked by midges,! to the point I abandoned work on the new allotment, as they were real biters, and doing their best to get up my nose ...literally, the last time I experienced similar insects was on a camping holiday on Skye in Scotland ( I now live in Northamptonshire ), I suppose this is a sign of a healthy environment I guess

Yep, even here in 'It's never dull in Hull' - I've been known to succumb to the overwhelming desire of midges, normally when trying to turn over/dig a bed.

In your eyes, up your nose, down the back of your neck, mainly causing total havoc (and a few sweary words).

Funnily enough, I'm Scottish - but can't really recall them bothering me too much back then. However, I never gardened back then.

Bam, I'm not too keep on the lippy colour - my advice would be yo try pink next time

We've had lots of midges this week ive been bitten all over, they usually spare my face but ive got two huge bites on the side of my face. If I sit outside for a glass of wine in the evening I am bombarded unless I have the chiminea or candles lit.

To be honest though Scarlet - my main concern has been with the poor Postman over the last few days.

Anyway, with this balmy weather - what's the best eye liner that doesn't run when your sweaty ?

                          I'll go for that

Although I do find the product to be a sweeter smelling and more pleasant fragrance in the New Testament range, compared to the Old one.

Not Hull, just work, clearing the house, tying up loose ends, etc.

Giving up the plot (and my steptoe and son collection of absolute cr@p) is sheer torture.
