  • Jersey Tiger

Just found a couple of these in the garden, hiding in the nettles. I've never seen one before. I knew it was a good idea to keep some of the nettles

      Bzzz

I covert your Nettles with its moths.

I was quite successful at work this year in keeping several nettle plants thriving, we had the biggest ladybird population hatch on them i have ever seen. Quite stunning.

      Still prefer your moths though.!

Nettles are probably one of my best crops!

I'd like to see one of those elephant hawkmoths (?), we found a caterpillar once and it was very impressive, but I've never seen the moth.

This is the first year that I have seen one - aren't they beautiful. Trouble is, every time you Google Tiger moth you get the aeroplane. Took this on the budileia (sp?) in our back garden.

They're really striking, gorgeous photo Scarey. I never think to take my camera out with me and by the time I'd clambered out from behind the asparagus fern the moth was long gone!
