  • Bee query

I noticed a bee on my cardoon yesterday being very very lazy or drunk on pollen - but the query is what are all the 'lump's just behind his head? Snowdrop thinks it is nasties, I'm not so sure?

Could be nasties.... this time of year many bees are just 'worn out' and will die sadly.
Was it a honey bee or bumble bee

I'm finding a few bees just sitting on the ground, not trying to fly or anything. A bit alarming when you're weeding, with bare hands
