I've seen a lot of these big hotels for bees and ladybirds so decided instead if paying a mad price for one I'd get the hubby to drill lots of holes in a tree stump we had pulled up. Safe to say it looks just as good as any shop brought one but where should I be putting it? Next to the flowering plants, the veg or somewhere shaded and tucked away? And should I provide anything other than flowers to entice them (the beneficial bugs) in? Thanks in advance
