  • What can cause this?

When I was slug hunting last night I saw a leaf fallen from one of my peas - literally covered with small black bettles. Probably 3-4mm long, when I moved the leaf they all left it - and it was covered in holes.

As a test I put a leaf down and just checked it now - same sort of damage I'm seeing on my beans & peas. Couldn't get a photo as it was dark, but here's one of the damage they did to that leaf I put down... Any idea what they are?

They're larger than flea beetle too, I've seen them all over my parnsips - and these are longer, and I think have antenna?

Seem slighly larger than them - if they're there when I go out in a bit to pick off any slugs/snails I'll take my camera + flashgun out!
