  • Please help ID this bug on my strawberry leaves.

Hi I bought a few new strawberry plants from h0mebase about 2 months ago. Does anyone know what this bug is? In the new growth, there are tiny green aphid looking things, then I found about 7 caterpillar looking bugs (see photo) they're making holes everywhere & some strawberries are turning white. Do these wiggly things turn into this jumpy grasshopper looking thing? Its in a glass,if its a good bug I could release it somewhere? I don't want them to spread to my other strawberry patch though,if they're all the same bug. I don't know what to do please help?

The caterpillar/ larvae looks like sawfly larvae. They usually go for gooseberries so perhaps I'm mistaken. Don't know about your green creature though.

Thankyou I was googling & it does look like a bush cricket,do you think it was eating the sawfly that look similar to the bristly Rose slug sawfly? Do I want the cricket with my veg, they're good aren't they? Yes I'm going to let it out now.
