anyone got any ideas how to control flea beetles on my brassicas without spraying. ?? any companion plants etc

They usually recommend spreading Vaseline on a bit of board, holding it over the rows and tapping the plants. The beetles jump and get stuck.Whoever plants a garden believes in the future.
