    Default Storm Helene tonight/tomorrow

Hope everyone is battening down the hatches, just in case.

Wind looks a bit gusty here in the forecasts, so I've closed the greenhouses up for the night - just in case.

Good luck everyone, weigh/fix those blowaways down as much as you can

Thanks for the heads up Thelma. Blustery here at the mo, might nip up the lotty and close the blowaway vents.

To be bad up here Wednesday they say but I’m told it’s Storm Ali?!! I had assumed it was Helene, no matter I’ll be staying indoors anyway!

They explained earlier today, it was ex tropical storm Helene which got renamed Ali once it hit Irish waters. They have ignored the usual convention in renaming it, should have stayed ex-Helene
