I know - I went down to my plot yesterday and felt like a right fool in the pouring rain! and it looks like it's going to rain for most of the rest of the week - ugh.

Looking on the bright side - at least we don't have to water!! Time to test the drainage in my new beds I guess.
Life may not be the party we hoped for but since we're here we might as well dance

I've got 3 very unhappy guinea pigs at the moment. They live in an outside run with a covered "house" at one end but the rain has got through everything.

SOMEONE has swapped April and May around haven't they....?! Is it the same people that decide when school holidays are? They're havin a larf, whoever did it!! LJ, I think you need to wield the pea-stick and make sure that June is actually June!

Yes please LJ as I have a five year old b'day party to contend with in mid-June and it'll only work if it is outside. Then they can run around screaming and generally disturbing the neighbours and I can send them home exhausted but over excited despite absence of colourants.

I had to rescue all my modules from trays outside as they were treading water and one of my olive trees that I put in a bucket with a little water as it looked very dry was actually submerged. Did very little on the lottie last week and at the weekend due to the rain and shaping up the same this week. It'll probably brighten up once the children are back at school and then I can have a day restoring my sanity on the lottie.

Might need a machete for the weeds though by then.
