Same here, Minskey. Except I don't have a thermometer, so can only state it's 'blimmin cold'

Not as cold as you Minskey, the thermometer says we had a low of 0.1 degrees. Mind you it's still only that now.

-7oc is unusual for here, although thinking about it i'm sure last year it went down to -10oc but that was an exceptional winter, or was it. I finally broke into the chooks water at 9am this morning, 3" of solid ice on top. Re-filled and went back at 10.30am only to see it has frozen again to nearly a quarter of an inch. Worried now as I have to go to work until 9pm, OH should be back around 4pm. I hope my chooks just pop themselves back to bed.

Quick amendment - thermometer on the apple tree says it was minus 2.

Hot water, socks and extra quilt cold. Which is 'very'.

I have no idea as the greenhouse is frozen shut! It contains the max/min theremometer which has an indoor and an outdoor sensor. However, at 7.30 yesterday evening the car thermometer said -5 so I know it got down below that.

-6 here 2nd day on the trot - snow has caused CHAOS. I can't believe this country can suffer so much..

I also think that snow driving/ice driving should be part of driving tests/lessons - the amount of people sliding all over the shop and cluelessly drifting into people is crazy. 6 accidents on my 3.5hr trip home (usually 20mins!).
