    Hot n sweaty in the garden!

    Sorry just thought I needed an outlet for me remarks about the bluddy heat!

    Trying to garden today with sweat running in my eyes and stinging them. Normally I"m not hanging upside down so don't have the eye stinging problem even when I have the sunburnt face.

    Everyone is getting used to me turning up at work at the beginning of the week with a face the colour of beetroot, and slowly turning tan. To be repeated again at the end of the week.

    I've been jealous of your cold (but not your freezing) until last week when the aircon at work was so d@mn cold that when I walked outside between buildings and the sun hit the back of my neck and I thought - Yes! And I felt sorry for you all. Because at least I can duck out between buildings when I need to.


    About to hit the best time of year for me. Warm days with chilly nights and mornings. That's the best part of the year!

    Hi Feral,i to hate our hot days and nights,i hide away and melt,if it's cold you can warm up a lot easier than if you to hot,hope your heat not last to long,we need a little of it here,hope you not get it like earier in the year,fingers crossed,

          Oooooh, well realllllly!

          Could be the start of something good! Might have to get rid of the son and heir tho, he'd rather cramp my style. Kids for some reason think you should be staid and proper.......even in the garden.

          They do say make hay while the sun shines - I've got the sunshine and the hay!

            'Ere you lot don't mean to say that those old biddies in town have been getting hot and heavy with my baby boy and his mate whilst they've been doing gardens for the last 10 weeks do you that's not noice!

                    The more often he does it, the more stamina he'll gain, then he'll be able to do lots of hedges in a day. Its win, win really

                          I should probably add to my last post ..... I drove 220 miles Friday to SiL's,cut hedge on Saturday (while Sil & wifey were shopping) & drove home Sunday

                              Your SIL BB? Really, that's a bit close to home!

                              VC really, as the mother of two teenage boys I really must insist you stop living on the hedge, hedging your bets is just not fair! And don't let that thug of a kiwifruit vine get hold of the youngsters either!
