  • Double Figures!!!

My outdoor thermometer actually hit 10 degrees a few minutes ago. Now back down to 9.8. First double figure temperature since well before Christmas. And the snowdrops and white and purple crocus are finally open. Daffodils showing buds too. Spring is very late this year, but I think it's finally on it's way.

I've heard Spring is almost a month behind!
It certainly feels late here- although when driving along in the car with the sun shining it feels like it should be warm when you get out of the car!!!

10C certainly feels grand doesn't it ( when the sun shines and the wind has dropped!)

It got to 9 point something here today, but felt warmer in the sunshine. It was a lovely day and I felt so much brighter and more energetic for it.

11.1!!!! Whooohoooo!!! And they are selling ice cream at the Co-op again, you know - the one you have on a sunny afternoon stroll with the dogs... Usually I share the last bit of ice cream with the dogs but no chance today with it being the first one of the season!!!
