A seed tray full of onions - The Kelsae!!!!

I really must be the most useless gardener on here!

Is there any point planting them out?

Sorry, not a seed tray, they are one per module in 2 inch modules

You've nothing to lose!!! Stick a bit of fleece over them to hurry them on a bit- and protect them later on!

      Thanks Nicos.

Does that mean I shouldn't feel guilty about harvesting calabrese from the plants still in the tray I bought them from the farmer's market in? We just don't seem to have had the right weather (and energy and enthusiasm) for me to clear the weeds off the patch where they are to go

LOL @ Shirl....aye get em in - there's nothing to lose.

I'm starting to grow smaller veg in pots and trays in the greenhouse [loads of celery and cabbage] just to pick the leaves off when they are big enough.....as sometimes just a few leaves will do it....and am going to do this [after Snadger's Brassicas in the Greenhouse ideas] all winter.

Nope I still have 4 3" high curly Kale in their tray..the others are planted out and knee height- I really must give them to someone!!!!
We too ran out of energy digging up the field creating new bed!
8 plants will be more than plenty for us to be honest...and our neighbours are confused as to why we're growing it when it's only used here as cattle fodder!!!!!

I meant to sow some kale for the hens through the winter. Might bung some in sometime - I think I have a late sowing one somewhere. I still haven't sown any carrots

I think you should ask RustyLady why she still has seed potatoes on her bathroom windowsill ... and onion sets still in their modules, bursting out of the sides.

              lol and lol again

You sound as bad as me Shirl, I feel like a juggler at the moment, still got runners to go in but my dwarf beans have lasted longer than expected and I need room for my leeks. Reckon my onions are gonna have to go in the paddock/lottie when the courgettes are finished though I woulda preferred them close as I love to stare at 'em while they grow

Um, I also have seed potatoes. Mind you, the intention is to plant these soon for crimbo harvesting.

I've still got seed potatoes in the porch, maincrops! By the time I realised I had room for them, it was too late to put them in... What a waste Also got a pot of leeks in the porch that got knocked over ages ago and I never got round to putting them back in the pot properly, they are half wilted, spindly bits of grass still...
