Why are my runner bean leaves yellow, holy and pathetic?

  • #2
The holiness is probably down to slugs and/or snails. I suspect that the yellow and pathetic is down to the weather. It's been very cold and horribly windy. If it settles down they should do ok. It wouldn't hurt to try a scattering of pelleted chicken manure around them, or maybe a bit of the seaweed fertiliser that you dilute down in a watering can, just to pick them up a bit. Good luck. I hope they come through.
