  • what veg do slugs not like

    Hi

This is my second year on my lottie, and I hope to have a more productive year.
Last year slugs got quite a few things.

Most of the potatoes were ok, and all the onions and leeks were ok

What veg are prone to pests and what veg are resistant.
I have just been over to the flower forum and there is a thread saying, the lupins I have just bought are loved by slugs.
I have just slit one plant, so I will wait for more growth untilll they go outside.
I have just started digging a pond.

Alliums (leeks, onions, shallots, garlic) are generally okay. They prefer green lettuce to red lettuce. Root veg should be okay as long as they don't get the seedlings when they're very young, and the tops of things like carrots aren't showing above the ground (they will tunnel in for a 'surround sound' feast).
