What veg did you use from the plot on Chrsitmas Day

We only had sprouts, leeks, carrots and parsnips. Could have had cabbage as well but made a coleslaw with it and some onion. Didn't go and get them till half ten christmas morning so could not have had them any fresher.

Same here went up on Christmas morning and picked the brussells cabbage leeks parsnips carrots the peas were frozen in the summer and potatoes stored in the garage.

Nothing this year

had a rubbish growing year. We could have had some shallots but I am saving them to plant for a bigger return next year (they were my only success)

I did manage to use my home grown carrots, parsnips and Brussels sprouts. Feeling quite pleased with myself. I'm going to try and be better organised next year so, watch this space....

Sprouts (almost pea-sized!), leeks, carrots and broccolli, very nice they all were too!

Roast celeriac and parsnip with dinner yesterday. Red onions, beetroot, chilli jam today when my Mum, brother and SIL come for high tea.

Coleslaw made with Rodima red cabbage, carrot, red onion and celeriac
Rooster spuds
Roast garlic & red onions
Roast Mars pumpkin, Cylindra beetroot, parsnips & carrots
Stir fried leeks, kale (3 types) and sprouts
Boiled carrots

all from the plot, lovely

Nothing. But did have home made (& grown) sweet chilli sauce with the salmon starter! Will do better next year honest!

Only managed parsnips roasted in the goose fat this year, but the plan is all the veg for next year.

A mixture of cavelo nero, curly kale and rainbow chard with the pork, and assorted leaves with the prawn cocktail.

We do still have jerusalem artichokes but I daren't risk them with FIL
