  • What are these?

Please can anyone tell what these peppers/chillies are? They have been given to me for the seed to grow next year so they are dry but the donor doesn't now the variety.

They could be Hungarian Black....if the fruits were black, before they ripened LOL

tbh there are many that look the same when ripe

Probably Capsicum annuum, the general form is Jalapeno, and Hungarian Black is a possibility. You might want to germinate a few seeds now, to make sure they are still viable. But as said above, there are lots that fit the bill. I wouldn't worry, you know how big they grow, you can taste one to find out how hot they are, what more do you need?

Thanks folks, I thought they might be Jalapeņos. not sure what colour they were before they were ripe. How big do they get? I have had Cayennes get to 3ft.

I will give them a try.
