    what have i still got time to sow

    Hi
    I got my allotment the end of April and have already have
    pots,
    cue,
    cabbage,
    purple sprouting
    sprouts,
    toms,
    courgetts,
    lettuce,
    and some that will be either sprout, cauli, PS, or cabbage given to me by a local nursery when the labels fell out and they couldn't tell which was which
    and have sown
    leeks
    peas,
    french beans,
    runner beans,
    sweetcorn,
    beetroot
    any Ideas what I could still sow for cropping this year

    You can plant a few of the following every couple of weeks
    lettuce
    spring onions
    radish
    and in the kitchen window - cress

    this way you will have a continuous crop of salad items.

          squashes!!

          If I had an allotment I would grow loads as they are such an excellent economical meal!

            keep sowing radish, lettuce for a long supply dont let them get to big

              Will be sowing turnip and late peas this week. If you want to sow peas look for a mildew resistant type. Kelvedon wonder is a good one for this time of the year.

                turnips,carrots and broccoli will still have time to make their mark. how about cauliflower? you can get an all year round variety. happy gardening!!

                  A good tip from my granny's wartime gardening book is to grow round seeded peas later in the season as they will crop before the frosts. They get to maturity faster than wrinkle seeded. I have Feltham First or Early Onward in mind.

                    ok,so I missed the fact you mentioned cauli,but just trying to help! Are you sure you arent taking too much on all at once? my plot holders told me to take it easy for a year or two...and they were right!
