Potatoes cooked different varieties for different cooking
    methods
    Carrots. Cooked or raw
    Peas Cooked or raw
    Broad beans. Cooked or raw
French beans. Add texture but not taste
    Runner beans. As above
    Parsnip Cooked
    Beetroot cooked or raw
    Rocket strong taste
    Turnip. Cooked or raw
Radish raw also good in stir fry
    Cabbage. Cooked some varietys raw

Please give your preferences if different
it may be a struggle to reach the top, but once your over the hill your problems start.

The one thing I grow which is a disaster when they are finally all gone are tomatoes. Shop bought, even those on the vine nowadays have no flavour at all

Most of the things you listed plus tomatoes.

Also I made a stew the other night with grown veg and it reminded me how much I love leeks

On my list are Cucumbers. Home grown ones are just fantastic. Shop ones are to watery with no flavour.

I'll add Kohlrabi to your list its good grated in salads or sliced and cooked in a gratin or fritters.

I only grow peas for eating raw - most of them don't make it home from the allotment.

We grow a lot of purple sprouting brocolli, summer and winter varieties - and eat it the day of picking, lightly cooked with a steamer. The taste is so much better than shop bought

Whilst making a sheppards pie the other day i took a nibble on the shop bought carrot, bland was not even close lol, tasteless closer maybe.
Never grown them before but they will be added to my to do list.( in pots )

                I'd add to your list:

Tomatoes - I can't imagine being without home grown ones
                Cucumbers
Lettuce, especially cut and come again baby leaf varieties which are totally different from the extortionately expensive bags you can buy in the supermarket
Oriental greens for a variety of flavours in salads
Courgettes, mainly for adding texture to blended soups
                Calabrese and PSB
                Spinach (see lettuce)
                Leeks
Strawberries - much nicer than the tasteless things you get in the shops
                Blueberries
                (I've probably forgotten some)

In fact, apart from mushrooms, I haven't bought any veg from the shops for the last 2 years.

I like to try as much as I can raw,to get the full taste,to know if I'l use that variety again, when they've passed that test I'l cook them, except cucumber & lettuces. Potatoes are cooked as bland as can be,just a dotting of butter,to get the taste before going down the garlic & herb route otherwise it would be difficult to get the taste. I grow for the vitamin c benefits & no chemicals poisoning me satisfaction, taste is always better than shop bought stuff & longevity. When you buy tomatoes (which I haven't needed to do this year ) one always goes mouldy & furry, like that one hadn't been irradiated properly or whatever they do to them to make them look edible,so wouldn't they all look like that with no artificial involvement?

                    Would not be without my;

Tomatoes #1.... you cannot buy tomatoes like you can grow, it is in most of our meals in some form.
courgettes.....again the taste you can´t beat compared to shop bought.
Sprouting broccoli.... i cannot buy it here anywhere so love it early spring.
Fresh onions wether it be spring, red or white. Lovely for a crunch and a main staple in most of our meals
Peppers (sweet)... for texture taste and so versatile. crunchy, roasted, grilled, stuffed

I try to grow as much as possible and only buy the odd bit at the shops the nutritional and pesticides free alone are a main factor, nothing like going into the plot and putting something on the plate within minutes, if you think that same thing in the supermarket could be weeks old if not months!
I grow 70% for us and 30% for the snails, then the neighbours eats them

Spinach is the thing that tastes most different to shop bought in my opinion, because it's always picked as 'baby leaf' for supermarkets rather than being left to mature. Having said that, I've had no success growing spinach since 2012!

                        Tomatoes for taste
                        Cucumbers for taste
                        Chillies for variety
                        Carrots for taste
                        Onions for everything...
I dream of a better tomorrow, where chickens can cross the road and not be questioned about their motives....

Peas and tomatoes particularly - there is nothing like fresh peas or tomatoes straight from the plant!

Also corn - soooo much better when freshly picked
